Abstract： This study employs methods such as literature review and logical analysis to explore the underlying logic and social significance of the Su Chao League emergence from a cultural sociology perspective. Findings reveal that Su Chao，by emphasizing “de-professionalization" and “locality” plays three distinct roles： as a “rebel” against commercialized sports in the spectacle society，a“seeker” of authenticity in sports，and a “connector” of social bonds within liquid modern society. Its emergence follows threefold logic： at the social level， it responds to the“connection famine” during urbanization; at the cultural level， it fulfills the public's deep-seated craving for authenticity in sports；and at the technological level， short videos and social media create and disseminate “ spectacles” while also sustaining ongoing community connections. The value implications encompass： acting as a social restorative mechanism， it partially mends the social alienation caused by modernity; constituting a reassertion of values， it re - anchors the authentic significance of sports participation， community bonding，and spiritual fulfillment; and serving as a form of cultural empowerment， it demonstrates the vitality of botom-up cultural practices and indicates that urban governance needs to shift from dominance to service. Challenges and future prospects： Su Chao must remain vigilant against threats to sporting authenticity posed by media distortion，capital encroachment， and excessive administrative intervention， resolving the paradox of diluted participation during scale expansion. It must also engage in ongoing cultural negotiation under the pressures of co -optation by capitalist symbols and administrative discipline，ultimately striving to transform transient revelry into a sustainable public sphere built upon local identity and cultural practices.
