AbstractCyperus esculentus L. is a new type of oilseed crop,whose underground tubers are rich in lipid withhigh oleicacid,soit isof highdevelopmental value.Inthis study,1465significantlydiferentially expressed genes were screened out based on the diference in lipid accumulation by comparative analysis of transcriptome data from tubers at diferent developmental stages. Among which,676 up-regulated genes were significantly enriched in fatty acid biosynthesis,sucrose metabolism,glycolysis and other related metabolic pathways,and the contribution of faty acid biosynthesis pathway was much higher than that of triglyceride(TAG) biosynthesis pathway. The lipid synthesis core enzyme genes of ACCase, FATA, SAD and DGAT ,and the key regulatory genes for oil-body forming proteins Caleosin and Oleosin were identified.These results would provide a theoretical basis for exploring the molecular mechanism of lipid synthesis of C . esculentus.
