Analysis of Influencing Factors in the Industry- University一Research Patent Cooperation Network of China's Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry

Abstract: Based on the incoPat patent database,this study constructs a patent collaboration network among universities,industries,and research institutions in China's inteligent equipment manufacturing sector. Utilizing social network analysis and QAP regression methods,it analyzes the networks development status,structural characteristics,and influencing factors. The results reveal that: ① The industry-university-research patent collaboration network in the intelligent equipment manufacturing industry has begun to take shape,albeit with uneven regional distribution. North China and East China exhibit higher activity,while patent applications in Central and Western China remain relatively weak. ② Universities play a prominent role as innovation entities,demonstrating significantly enhanced innovation capabilities. ③ Geographical proximity,economic proximity,and technological proximity exert significantly positive efects on the formation and development of thecollaboration network,whereas institutional proximity exerts a negative influence.Based on these findings,the study proposes the following recommendations: improve the innovation ecosystem,expand collaboration pathways tailored to local conditions,leverage the driving role ofcore entities,actively build regional collaborative innovation platforms, enhance infrastructure systems,and establish shared platforms for scientific research equipment.This research elucidates the structural characteristicsand influencing factorsof the industry-university-researchcolaboration network within China's intelligent equipment manufacturing industry. It contributes to acelerating industrial development,enhancing production eficiency,and holds both theoretical and practical value for promoting the healthy advancement of the sector.
