Abstract:Lithologicalsymbolsplayacriticalroleingeologicalcartography,servingasaprimarymeansofrepresenting stratigraphicandlithologicaldistributions.Thestandardizationoftheirdesignandrenderingdirectlyinfluencetheacuracy interpretabilityandreadabilityofgeologicalmaps.Conventionalaproachestypicallyrelyondesktopsoftware,whichishighly coupledwithlocalenvironmentsandthereforelimitedintermsofcross-platformsharingToovercomechalengessuchas inconsistentsymbolstandardsanddependenceonspecificrenderingtools,thisstudyproposesaweb-basedapproachforlithological symbolrendering.AunifiedgraphicalsymbolencodingsystemwasestablishedinaccordancewiththeLegendofRegional GeologicalMaps(GB/T958—2015).Themethodemploysabrowser-server(B/S)architectureandintegratesHTML5Canvaswith Vue-basedfront-endcomponentstoachievedynamicrenderingoflithologicalsymbolsandseamlessmapcomposition.Operating entirelywithinabowserenviromenttheaproacheliminatesheneedforaditionalsoftwareinstalltionoffringthedvantages oflightweighteployment,highreusabilityandcro-platformcompatibilityItsfeasibilityandefectivenesswereeostrated throughapplicationtolithologicalcolumnarlogsfromtheSichuanBasin.Theresultsprovidenewinsightsandmethodological pathways for advancing the standardization and intelligent visualization of geological maps.
