Research on a Slot-Level Hybrid Scheduling Strategy for the MIL-STD-1553B Bus

Abstract:ToenhancetheschedulingcapabilityoftheMIL-STD-1553Bbusunderhigh-loadconditionsforbothperiodicand aperiodictasks,thispaperproposesahybridschedulingstrategybasedoslot-level.Thismethodintegratesfixed-priorityschduling (RateMonotonicScheduling,RMS)withEarliestDeadlineFirst (EDF),achievingcooperativeschedulingofstaticanddynamic tasksunderaunifiedtimepartitioningframework.TheexperimentalsystemisbuiltupontheH-613ObuscontrolerandXilinx Zynqplatform.TheschedulerisdevelopedinClanguageandsupportsstaticschedulingofperiodictasks,dynamicinsertionof aperiodic tasks,and slot-levelpreemptioncontrol.Experimental resultsshowthat,evenwithabusutilizationof 91.38% ,alltasks mettheirdeadlines,demonstratingtheeficiencyandfeasibilityoftheproposedstrategyThisapproachprovidesageneral-pupose scheduling solution for complex avionics systems.
