Saturation modulation theory and compensation of suspension force pulsation in bearingless permanent magnet slice motors with solid and circular rotor structures

Abstract :Although solid permanent magnet rotors can improve the power density of motors,they will exacerbate the impact on the accuracy of suspension force models due to saturation modulation effects, thereby afecting the suspension performance of the motors. An accurate modeling method was proposed for analyzing the saturation modulation effect of motors based on magnetic field modulation theory,parabolic and saddle shaped saturation functions were constructed respectively suitable for solid permanent magnet rotors and circular permanent magnet rotors,and an expression for the air gap magnetic flux density of the motor was established based on the saturation function,the harmonic components of the air gap magnetic field were obtained that change due to the consideration of iron core saturation modulation,and the effective working harmonic pairs were identified that generate suspension force pulsation. Secondly, finite element analysis was used to compare the suspension force waveforms of solid and circular rotor structures with and without considering iron core saturation modulation,and the corrctness of the theory was proved.Finally,through Simulink simulation and experimental verification,the influence of solid and circular rotor structures on the suspension performance of bearingless permanent magnet slice motors were compared,and the suspension force pulsation caused by iron core saturation modulation was reduced through control algorithm compensation.

无轴承永磁薄片电机作为磁悬浮电机的一种,它的转子不需要轴承支撑,无需考虑有轴承电机的支撑问题,具有使用寿命长,无机械摩擦等优点[1-3],此外,由于薄片电机的转子具有轴向长度短呈薄片状的特殊结构,能够实现定转子完全分离和5自由度全悬浮,具有体积小、利用率高、结构简单等特点,适用于生物、化学、医疗等无污染、超洁净领域[4-5]。(剩余12822字)
