Multi-parameter identification method of vehicle permanent magnet synchronous motor considering magnetic saturation characteristics of motor

Abstract:In order to accurately identify the online parameters of permanent magnet synchronous motors for new energy vehicles,a multi-step estimation method using d-axis current injection was proposed to solve the problem of rank-deficiency in multi parameter online identification. In order to improve accuracy of inductance identification,magnetic saturation and cross coupling phenomena were considered in the identification model. In response to the problem of increasing the number of parameters to be identified in the voltage equation of the motor considering magnetic saturation,three sets of measured data were identified using a two-step least squares method by injecting two currents in sequence.This enabled online identification of five parameters,including stator resistance,permanent magnet flux,apparent self nductance and mutual inductance of the AC and DC axes. The feasibility of the method was verified through simulation,and the selection method of the amplitude and duration of the d-axis injection current was analyzed and studied.An experimental platform and conducted multi condition parameter identification experiments were built for diferent loads and operating temperatures,demonstrating feasibility and ffectiveness of the proposed method under different conditions. Under the verification method proposed in his article,the identification error does not exceed ±5% ·
