Abstract:Toinvestigate theefectsof diferentbiochar materialsonthegrowthandphysiologyofpeanut (ArachishypogaeaL.), randomizedblock-designedpotandfieldexperiments werecariedoutwiththepeanut varietyXianghua52'Thepeanut plants weresubjctedtofvetreatments:noocharddition(CK)iscantuslutarioripariusstrawbiocar(M),icehuskoharH), bamboobiochar(BM),ndudgebiochar(S).efuctioalleafADauesalondaldehde(DA)ontentotactiityplat height,branchumberndfeldyielderemeasueduringfoweringciculafoingndpodsetingstages.Teultssowed thattheSStreatmentachievedthehighestSPADvalue(46.5)atthefoweringstage,whileothertreatmentsexhibitedsignificantly lower values.Duringgrowth,SPADvalues gradualldecreased inSSandCK treatments but increased inothertreatments.Root activitydeclidinSndCKtreatmentsutoseitertreatmentseAotentireasdacossalltreatmentsihHnd BMshowingsmaller increasesthanCK,MS,andSS.Biochar-treated plants exibitedshorterplants butmorebranches taCK.Al biochar treatmentsoutperformed CKinyield,withMSyielding thehighest ( 5482.5kg/hm2 23.0% increase compared with CK)and SS yielding the lowest (4689kg/hm2 5.2% increase compared with CK). Polynomial correlations were observed between peanut yield andphysiologicalindicatorsattepodsetingstageintecaseofiocharaplication,hichinicatedtattheeectiealication ofbiochar wasakeyapproachtomprovingthealityeld,andeconomicbefitofpanut.Ioclusion,among thefurbichar materials, MS,RH,and BM demonstrated satisfactory performance, while SS showcased poorer performance.
