Abstract:Self-compatibility(Sisacucialeproductivetraitinrasicaceeplats,withprofondiplicatisforobdg This eviewsynthsizesrecentadvancesinSreseachonBrasicaceaevegetables,mpasiingitsoecularmechanisms(e.gocus generegulation)andartificialinterventionstrategies.Studiesdemonstratethatbiologicalmethods (e.gbudpollnationdelaed pollination,stigma secretion application,mixed pollenpolination),chemical approaches (e.g.hormone treatment, CO2 exposure, salinesolutiol)dal (tntdstd canefectivelyveromeSbarrers.Amongtese,budpollnationsowstheoptimalpractcaleacyandeombiedatent of saline solution pollination and CO2 exposure also exhibits the potential for broader adoption.Furthermore,this article highlights theutilizationofSIsystems inhybridseed productionandagriculturalaplications.Futureresearch should prioritizeeluciating the molecularregulatorynetworksofSI,withafocusoncoingandfunctionalcharacterzationofselfompatibilityens,ereby providing a theoretical foundation for genetic improvement in Brassicaceae crops.
