Abstract： [Purposes] This paper aims to sort out the patent development trend of global antiferroelectric technology，and provide reference forfurther research in this field.[Methods] This paper uses the Incopat database platform to gather patent statistics of global antiferroelectric technology，and analyzes patent application trends，technology source and target countries，major applicants，patent technology fields， and operational status and so on.[Findings] Foreign research and innovation in the field started earlier， with enterprises as the main focus; China started relatively late，mainly led by universities and research institutes，with a focus on antiferroelectric ceramic material technology.[Conclusions] China should continue to strengthen the research of antiferroelectric materials，enhance industry-university-institute cooperation and open licensing conversion，promote industrial applications，and atach importance to overseas patent layout and intellectual property protection.
