Abstract: [Purposes] By analyzing the design requirements,key technologies and possble problems in the construction process of sling tower,the corresponding solutions and technical measures are put forward.[Methods] With the methods of literature review and field investigation,the actual project was investigated on the spot,the data in the construction process were collected,the construction process of the sling tower was analyzed,and the feasibility of the construction scheme was evaluated.[Findings] The research results show that by optimizing the tower structure and construction sequence,the construction risk is reduced by 14 % and the construction efficiency is improved by 1 8 % .[Conclusions] The construction technology of sling tower of long-span steel truss arch bridge involves many technical problems.The problems in construction should be solved by comprehensive application of design optimization,construction simulation and site management to ensure the construction quality.
