Self-cyberbullying among Minors : Causes,Patterns,and Intervention Strategie

Abstract:The study focuses on the phenomenon of self-cyberbullying among minors and selects 15 minors with typical characteristics as the research subjects by using the purposeful sampling method. Through acombination of semi-structured in-depth interviews and participatory observations,this study explores the generation mechanism, evolution model and intervention strategiesof self-cyberbulying.Research has found that underage selfcyberbullies,under the interaction of the four-dimensional framework of environment,group,interpersonal and individual,have formed self-deprecating identitytypes.This internalized derogatory identityrecognition has become the internal cause triggering self-cyberbulling. Further analysis reveals thatthe phenomenon of self-cyberbulling among minors exhibits significant community-oriented difusion characteristics:they construct self-harm aesthetics through visual rhetoric,form value convergence through interactive narratives,and strengthen colective behaviorunder the influence of opinion leaders.Basedon the theoryof social colaborative governance,this study proposes a three-dimensional system that includes intelligent home-school - peer support network,platform responsibility governance,and AI-assisted intervention.
