With the growing confidence in our culture,the influence of regional resources and cultural characteristics on landscape design is becoming increasingly profound.Theconcept of 'in situ'is an important way to stimulate regional advantages.This article examines a case study of the Greenand Beautiful Guangdong Species Exhibition Garden in the South China National Botanical Garden.It explores theapplication of the landscape construction framework of'cognition-intervention-transformation'.Through the idea of'integrating threeaspects',it recognizes the characteristics of natural landscape elements and historical context elements.By aligning with the contemporary needs of introducing nature education,integrating the site's internal resources,and displayingsymbolicgreenand beautiful plants,these elementsare implemented and transformed into practical strategies forgarden landscape construction.From the perspective of the integrated developmentof ecology,culture,and garden scenery,four construction strategiesare constructed,namely, sorting out the spatial layout,symbiosis with the natural environment,continuing the historical context,adopting a cost-saving gardening style,and applying local materials. Thiselaboratesonapplying the'insitu'concept in the practice of the exhibition garden, providinga reference for creatinggarden landscapeswith regional characteristics.
