Daylight isclosely related to human health,and its non-visualeffectsarecloselyassociated with the designof the light environment in buildings.By systematically reviewing the relevant research at home and abroad in the past15 years,based on the basic characteristics and research directions of the non-visual effects of daylight,this paper analyzes and summarizes the relevant spatial scenes(such as campus,ofice,and medical spaces),spatial variables,quantitative indicators,standardsand themain research methods related to the non-visual daylight environment in buildings.Theresearch found that spatial variables, climatic conditions,and time factors jointly affect the non-visual daylight environment of building spaces.Five types of spatial variables一namely urban design,spatial form,lightcontrol interface,indoorattributes,and viewpoint characteristics一significantly influence onthe non-visual effects.Quantitative indicators and standardsstill need to be further improved,and themain research methodscanbedivided into on-sitemeasurementand simulation experiments.Finally,the research directionand application of the non-visual effects in the daylight environment of buildingsare prospected.
