Abstract

Improving the researchonpublicbehavioral intentions regardingurban special green spaces is of great significance for optimizing urban green space planning and protecting urbanplant ecosystems.This study is grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response （SOR） model.Taking the Special Botanical Garden in Fuzhou Sanjiangkou as the empirical research area，this study delves deeply into the internal mechanism underlying the relationships among the public's landscape perceived naturalness，restorative experience， and behavioral intention.The resultsdemonstrate that the perceived naturalness of landscapes，which includes the perceptionof natural forms，spaces，and attributes，has asignificantlypositive impact onrestorative experience.Restorative experience consists offour dimensions：remoteness，extensibility，charm，and compatibility，which exertsa significantly positive influence on behavioral intention.Landscape perceived naturalness indirectlyaffects behavioural intention through restorative experience，whichactsasa mediating variable.Based on these findings，strategies are proposed for enhancing the design of landscape naturalness，optimizing the planningof restorative experience.
