[Abstract]Elderlypatientsdemonstratediminishedphysiologicalfunctionsandvariouscomorbidities，whichpresentsignificant challenges in the perioperative anesthesia management of lung cancer surgery. Dexmedetomidine， a selective α2 -adrenergic receptoragonist，demonstratesdosdependentfectsincdingsdation，aalgesianxiolysis，ndantisypatheticactivityee detomidinedemostratesteprotectivepotentialacossmultiplergansdurigtheperioperativeeriodoflungancersurgeryintheeld erlyhighlgingitsiiantlicatioalueinalsthsipractie.isticeviteanofo dineanditspotentialfrulti-rganprotetionduringteperioperativeperiodofungcancersugeryinlderlypatints.Ialsodiscus sesrecentadvancesinclinicalanesthesiapractice，imingtoenhancethequalityandsafetyofdexmedetomidie-basedanesthesiamanagement for this demographic.
