[Abstract]SleepisafundamentalphysiologicalnecessitythatplaysacrucialroleinmaintainingoverallhalthSleepdisorders,agroupofnditostatdsuptoalsleepattseprentaprevaentcliicalisse.Isuto-restoiesleep canmpairphyicalognitive,socialndotioalfunctios,gnificantlducingoverallalthndualityoflife.Esie searchhas establishdastrongassociatiobetweensleedisordersandtheonsetandprogessonofvariouschronicdiseases,cluding cardiovasculardisease,iabetes,besity,andneurologicaldisorders.Keypathologicalmechanismslinkingslepdisorderstoonc diseasesincludeautonomicnervous system dysfunction,oxidative stress,endothelial dysfunction,andbrainfunctionabnomalities. This reviewsummarzesrecentadvances inunderstanding therelationshipbetween sleepdisordersandchronicdiseases,aiming topro vide insights for the prevention and management of chronic health conditions.
