Status quo of alexithymia among nurses and its influencing factor

AbstractObjective：Toinvestigatethestatusquoofalexithymiaamong nursesandanalyzeitsinfluencingfactorMethods：Atotalof 3953nursesfrom43hospitalsinChinawereselectedbyconveniencesamplingmethodfromJanuarytoAprilO23.Datawerecolleted usinga general nforationquestioaire，Te2-IteTorontoAlexithmiaScale（TA-O），andTeShortClanceImpostoroeno Scale（CIPS-1O）.Results：The total score of TAS-2O among nurses was 53.42± 11.85.And the total score of CIPS-10 was 27.92±13.80 ThetotalscoreofTAS-2OanditssubscalescoreswerepositivelycorelatedwiththetotalscoreofI-1Oanditssubscalesores P< O.001）.Theresultfultivariateanalysisshowedthatyearsfworkexperience，maritalstatus，technicaltitleducationaleeld impostor phenomenon were influencing factors of alexithymia（ P<0.05 ）.Conclusions：Nurses exhibited a borderline level of alexithymia andarelativelyhighlevelofimpostorphenomenon.Theimpostorphenomenonwasasignificantinfluencingfactorforteoccurrnceof alexithymia among nurses.
