AbstractObjective：Toexploretheimpactofpsychodramainterventiononthementalhealthstatusandqualityoflifeofelderlypatients withchronicdiseases.Methods：Atotalof13OelderlypatientswithchronicdiseaseswereselectedfromAugust2O22toMarch2024and randomlydividedintocontrolgoupandbservationgoup，65caseseachgroupPatientsicontrolgroupreceivedoutineusinginteetio whiletheobservationgroupeiedpsychodrama iterventioninditiontoteoutiecare.ThementalealthsatusGeriatricDepion Scale（GDS），tateaitAietyvetor（S），Emotioal-ocialoelisIvetory（Edualityofifeoldlt OrganizationQualityofLife-BriefVersion（WHOQOL-BREF）werecomparedbetwenthetwogroupsbeforeandaftertheintervention. Results：Aftertheintervention，atients inoservatiogroupsowedsignificantlylowerscoresotheGDS，TAIandELscales compared to that of the control group（ P<0.05; 0.While the scores across all dimensions of the WHOQOL-BREF were significantly higher 0 P<0.05' .Conclusions：Compared toroutine nursing alone，thecombinationofpsychodrama interventioncould helptoaleviate negative emotionssuchasanxietydepresio，ndlonelinessinelderlypatientswithchronicdiseasesandimprovestheirqualityoflife.
