AbstractObjective:Toconstructaealthliteracyaesentscaleforchdrenwithdwarfismandtestitsreliabilityandvalidityo toprovideabasisformedicalstaftomeasurethehealthliteracyofchildrenwithdwarfism.Methods:Basedoareviewoftheliterature, semi-structuredinterviewswereconductedbasedontheTimingTheorytofortheitialdraftof tescale.AfterDelphiexpertcosultion andapre-test,theaessmentscalewasdetermied.Aquestionairesurveywasconductedon342hospitalzedchildrenwithdwarfism foritemanalyssandreliabilityandvaliditytests.Moreoer,asurveywascarrdoutonchildrenwithdwarfismwhovisitedtheutpatit departmentsofthreetertiarygradeAhospitals toverifthestabilityofthescaleResults:Thehealthliteracyasessmentsalefordren withdwarfismincudedthreedmensios:basicknowedgeandonepts,ealtylifestyleandeaviors,andbasicsklls,ithotalof 32items.ThetotalCrbach'salacoefientofthealeasO9O,thesplialfrelabilityaO781,andtetestretestelibility was0.942.Thecontent validity index at the scale level was O.844.Exploratoryfactoranalysis extracted threecommon factors, with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 60.796% ; the results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the factor structure of the scalewasstableocusios:Teonstructedhalthliteracyasessmentscaleforchdrenwithdwarfsmasgodllityndlidity, and it can be used for clinical assessment of the health literacy of children with dwarfism.
