AbstractObjective：Toconstructaealthliteracyaesentscaleforchdrenwithdwarfismandtestitsreliabilityandvalidityo toprovideabasisformedicalstaftomeasurethehealthliteracyofchildrenwithdwarfism.Methods：Basedoareviewoftheliterature， semi-structuredinterviewswereconductedbasedontheTimingTheorytofortheitialdraftof tescale.AfterDelphiexpertcosultion andapre-test，theaessmentscalewasdetermied.Aquestionairesurveywasconductedon342hospitalzedchildrenwithdwarfism foritemanalyssandreliabilityandvaliditytests.Moreoer，asurveywascarrdoutonchildrenwithdwarfismwhovisitedtheutpatit departmentsofthreetertiarygradeAhospitals toverifthestabilityofthescaleResults：Thehealthliteracyasessmentsalefordren withdwarfismincudedthreedmensios：basicknowedgeandonepts，ealtylifestyleandeaviors，andbasicsklls，ithotalof 32items.ThetotalCrbach'salacoefientofthealeasO9O，thesplialfrelabilityaO781，andtetestretestelibility was0.942.Thecontent validity index at the scale level was O.844.Exploratoryfactoranalysis extracted threecommon factors， with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 60.796% ; the results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the factor structure of the scalewasstableocusios：Teonstructedhalthliteracyasessmentscaleforchdrenwithdwarfsmasgodllityndlidity， and it can be used for clinical assessment of the health literacy of children with dwarfism.
