AbstractObjective：Toinvestigatethestatusquoofitravenous infusiontherapyintertiaryhospitalsnationwideandtoprovidasis forfurthermprovingtheuaityfintraveousifusionMethds：Arosssectionalsureywasconductedonconvenientlyselectedtertia medicalistutiosusingtequestioaieonthurrtsituationofintravenousifusonthrapyinospitalsatallevelsesigedby theIntravenousIfusionTrapyProfessonalCommieeofteCinseursingAsociatioesults：totalof99validustoe were recovered.The average infusionrate on the survey daywas 71.9% .And the average number of bottles per person per day was 3.4. Intravenous therapy teams were established in1140 （95.1%） hospitals.The usage rates of peripheral intravenous indwelling needles， peripherally inserted central catheters （PICC），and central venous catheters （CVC） were all above 90% .Three-way stopcocks were selected in1 099 （91.7%） ）hospitals.And infusion connectors were selected in 1117 （93.2%） ）hospitals.The technology for establishing central venous access was carried out in1090 （90.9%） hospitals.And thePICC technology wascarried out in1117 （93.1%） hospitals.Themain skindisinfectants in tertiary hospitals were povidone-iodine withan efective iodine concentration of more than 0.5% And 75% ethanol. The skin puncture site for disposable intravenous steel needles in 904 （75.4% ）hospitalswasselectedto belarger than 5cm .And the skin disinfection range for peripheral intravenous indwelling needles in 957 （79.8%） hospitalswas selected to be larger than 8 cm.Conclusions： Theskillofitraveoususioraitaryospialsiniseveedpidlyoweerutrestilo Itisrecommendedthatmedicalinstitutionsfurtherstandardizethenursingoperationproceduresimplementtrainingandaement， and incorporatetemintoteursingqualityevaluatiototandardizeteursingbehaviorofitravenousthrapy，oastoprootete healthy development of the intravenous therapy in China.
