Analysis of Genetic Diversity and Correlation of Canopy Traits in Japonica Rice

Abstract:Sixtyjaponicaricevarietieswereusedasexperimentalmaterialstoanalyzethecanopytraitsof japonicarice varieties.Theresultsshowedthatthecoeffcientofvariationofcanopytraitsinjaponicaricevarietiesrangedfrom 12.22% to 108.30% ,and the Shannon-Wiener diversity index ranged from 1.328 to 2.06O.Most canopy traits hada largevariationrangeandahighdiversitylevel.Leaflengthfactor,leafanglefactor,leafwidthfactor,anddrooping factorwere themainfactorsafecting thecanopystructureof japonicarice.The 6O japonicaricevarietiescouldbe roughlydividedinto5groups,andthevarietiesineachgrouphadsignificant differences incanopystructure.At the sametime,there weresignificantor extremelysignificantcorelationsamong somecanopy traits.Thisprovidesabasis for varietyimprovement and trait selection.
