Abstract：Withthepromotionoftheruralrevitalizationstrategy，theconstructionofricepaddyculturalfieldsandthe integrateddevelopmentofruraltourismhavebecomeresearchhotspots.TakingtheShiyanterracedfieldsinanorthern countyasanexample，thisstudy explorestheconotationandconstructionapproach of rice field culturalfield，and analyzesitscouplingrelationshipwithruraltourismdevelopment.Throughdataanalysis，significantachievementshavebeen madeinecologicalbenefits，culturalheritage，andsocialbenefitsofthedrylandShiyanteracedfieldsinShexianCounty from2019to2023.Thenumberof touristshasincreasedfrom573000in2019to759000in2023，and tourism revenuehasincreasedfrom199millionyuan to248millinyuan.Thisindicatesaclosecouplingefectbetween the constructionofricepaddycultural fieldsandthedevelopmentofruraltourism.Theresearchresultscanprovidetheoretical basisand practical guidance forachieving a win-win situation betwee cultural inheritanceandeconomic developmentin rural areas.
