Abstract：OryzameyerianaBaill，alsoknownaswartedwildriceisfacingseveresurvival threatsduetohumanactivities andenvironmentalchanges.Asanationalsecond-classprotectedplantandacritical geneticresource forrice，the protectionofOryzameyeriana'sgermplasmresourcesisparticularlyimportant.Throughfieldinvestigationsandsample colectionanalysis，thisstudydiscoveredanewpopulationofOryzameyerianaBaillIntheLixianRiversectionofLvchun County，involvingdiversehabitatssuchasrubberforests，mixedforests，andbambooforests.Atotalof35germplasm resourcesofOryzameyerianaBaill.and6Omature，disease-freesedswerecolected，andaseriesoftargetedrescuand protectiomeasureswereimplemented.Theimplementedrescueandprotectionmeasuresefctivelyimproved thegrowth conditionofplantsafectedbyherbicides，significantlyenhancingtherecoveryandsurvivalratesofOryzameyerianaBail. Thestudyresultsemphasizetheimportanceof appropriateprotection measures for maintaining the population stablityand geneticdiversityofOryzameyerianaBaill.Facingthedualpressuresofenvironmentalchangeandhumanactivies，this studyprovidesanempiricalbasisfortheefectiveprotectionandmanagementof Oryzameyeriana Baill，，oferinga scientific foundation for future protection measures and strategies.
