Abstract：Asparagus offcinalis contains abundant nutrients and has high edible and medicinal value.This paper summarized the functional components and biological activities of A .officinalis，and introduced the current situation of A . offcinalis processing technology in China，including fresh food，primary processing， waste utilization，and development of food ingredients.It pointed out the problems existing in China's fresh consumption and processing industry of A .offcinalis，such as rawmaterial surplus and waste，analyzed the comprehensive utilization technology of A .officinalis waste，in order to provide references for the future development of the A . officinalis industry.
