Abstract:To identify superior processing tomato varieties adapted to Xinjiang oasis irigationregions,this study conducted field trials with 12 processng tomato cultivars and‘H1o15’as the control.A comprehensive evaluation was performed,including analyses ofbotanical traits,yield performance,and quality characteristics, supplemented by cluster analysis to determine genetic relationships,and establish breeding objectives.The results demonstrated that TM-1 exhibited the highest yield,surpassing TM-9,TM-12,and the control 0 6H1015′ by 10.4% , 11.0% ,and 11.2% ,respectively,with statistically significant advantages over other cultivars.Both TM-1and TM-12 showed significantly higher soluble solid content thanother varieties.TM-12 displayed the highest total acidity content,brightnessand chroma,representing the best overall performance. Clusteranalysis based on genetic relationships classified the 12 varieties into three distinct groups.In conclusion,considering comprehensive botanical traits,yield performance,and quality characteristics,the three processing tomato varieties TM-1,TM-9,and TM-12 metcurrent breeding objectives and market demands, making them ideal candidates for selective breeding and regional promotion in Xinjiang's oasis irigation areas.
