Abstract： Jinxiangcounty in Jining cityisrenowned both domesticallyand internationallyas thehometownof garlic and chili peppers.It cultivates economic crops such as garlicand chili peppers year-round，and there is aclear competition for grain and land resources.To resolve the grain-cash crop land competition dilemma，this paper systematically explained the‘3-1-2’ dual-spicy （garlic chili） and single-grain （maize） high-efficiency annual intercropping system.This model implementation achieved stabilized cash crop profitability while increasing grain production area and yield，delivering approximate yields of1 40O kg garlic，410 kg chili，and 420 kg maize per 667m2 . This generated an output value of approximately 24 OOO yuan per 667 m， representing an average income increase of 1 OOO yuan/667 m² compared to traditional monoculture systems. The system achieved the dual goals of ensuring stable grain production and increasing farmers’income and wealth.
