Research on Development Path of County Urban-Rural Educational Integration Under Background ofUrban-Rural Integration

Abstract:Promoting the integrateddevelopmentof urban and rural education at thecounty level under the backgroundof urban-rural integrationis of great significance foradvancing the equalizationof public services andachieving common prosperity.The practical orientation ofurban-rural educational integration emphasizes optimizing thealocationof educational resources to promote equitybetween urban and rural education and reforming teaching methods to foster the wellroundeddevelopmentof students inboth setings.However,the current developmentof urban-rural educational integrationattecountylevelfacesaseriesofchalenges:anuneven distributionof educationalresources,with significant disparities in public services between urban and rural areas;an irrational layout of educational resources,leading to overcrowdedurban schools alongside thehollowing-outof ruraleducation;and inadequate supporting policies foreducational reform,with issues such as school enrollment for migrant children remaining unresolved.To address thesechallnges and advance urban-ruraleducationalintegration,thefolowing measures shouldbetaken,firstly,establishing acollborative mechanism betweenurbanandrural education,actively developing“urban-rural educational aliances”,secondly, strengthening rural education development toaddressits shortcomings,thirdly,acelerating the applicationof digital technologies to enhance teaching quality in both urban and rural schools.
