Abstract：Role models are vivid values，tangible positive energy，andhave a powerful appeal tolead by example and transform culture into customs. Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the exemplary and leading roleof role models，and has made a series of important statements about role models.From the perspective of generative logic，Xi Jinping's importantexpositiononrole models originates from Marxist humanistic thought，is rooted in the excellent traditional Chinese model culture，inherits the view ofrole models of Chinese Communists，and developsinresponse to the practical needs of the new era.From the perspectiveofconnotationand esence，XiJinping'simportant expositiononrole modelscontains contentsuchas source theory，trait theory，valuetheory，and path theory，andisacomplete，logicallrigorous，and harmonious theoretical system.From a value perspective，XiJinping'simportant exposition onrole models is of great significancein strengthening ideals and beliefs，promoting theconstruction of partyand government conduct，cultivating and promoting socialist core values，and realizing the China Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
