Research Characteristics and Engineering Ideas of Benefication Test for Complex Low Grade Tungsten Polymetallic Ores

AbstractAbeneficiationteststudywasconductedonthelow-graderefractory tungstenpolymetallcores.Process mineralogy analysiswasusedtolarifyrecharacteritic,andtwoprocesssweresystematicallyompared:gravityseparationdominantprocess (coarseparticlegravityseparation-fineslmeflotation)andflotatiodominantproces(oughflotation-gavityseparationupgading). Process parameters wereoptimized toreducecostsandachieveenvironmentalobjectives.The“ROMrough grinding-bulk Cu-S flotation-coarseparticlegravityseparation-fineslimeflotation”process wasultimatelyrecommended.Undertheconditionsof (204 0.17% WO grade and 0.18% Cu grade in the ROM ore,the following results were achieved: Tungsten concentrate: 33.97 % WO grade 3 3 at 66.38% recovery,Copper concentrate: 25.71% Cu grade at 83.87% recovery. Both processes showed comparable technical indicators,butthegravitydominantprocessdemonstratedsignificantlylowerreagentcostsandhigherretuwaterutilizationThis study provides technical foundations for enginering applications of similar low-grade tungsten polymetalic ores.
