Study on the Development System of a Deep Production Substitution Mine in China

Abstract To meetthedevelopmentrequirementsofdeeporebodiesinamine withyearsofexploitation,thisstudyproposesand compares four development options: a blind belt conveyor decline + auxiliary shaft(hoisting capacity 1.1 Mt/a),a combined shaft (hoisting capacity1.2 Mt/a),a blind combined shaft + auxiliary ramp(hoisting capacity 1.2 Mt/a),and a new main and auxiliary shaft (hoistingcapacity1.8Mt/a).Acomprehensivetechnical-economiccomparison shows that thenewmainandauxiliaryshaftoption ofersadvantagesinonstructiondificultychedulecontrol,andventilationanddranagesystemesign;althoughitsomprable engineringquantityandcapitalcostarerelativelyigh,itdemostratessignificantlong-teadvantagesinanualcomparablecost andtotalcomparableexpenses,alongwithighproductionmaagementfiency,lowtransportationcosts,andinaliacton existingproduction.Aftercomprehensiveevaluation,thenewmainandauxiliaryshaftoptionisrecommendedasthepreferrd development solution for the deep production substitution project.
