AbstractToivestigatetheinfluenceofflyashadditionontheearlystrengthofhigh-densityunclasifiedtailingsbackfll, uniaxialcompressvestrength tests wereconductedonhigh-densityunclasified tailings withdiferentflyash contents( 20% ,30%, (20 40% )froman overseas mine.By measuring thestrength ofbackfillspecimens at3dand7dages under varying cement-sandratios andpasteconcentrations,theipactofflyashcontentonearly-agestrengthwasevaluated.Theresultsindicatethattheincoporation offlyashleadstoacertaineductioninearlystrength,buttheextentofreductionremainswithinaeptableengineeringliits.At fly ash content of 30% andacement -- sand ratio of 1:4,the 3 d and 7 d strengths of the backfill reached O.84 MPa and1.88 MPa, respectivelyeallfulfilggiineets.reforetialplcetofntitflhisasibecein a cost reduction of approximately 76 yuan/m³ in binding materials at this mix proportion.
