Abstract: A reference voltage circuit with ultra-low quiescent power was designed for low-power DC-DC converters to address the issues of high power consumption and low power supply rejection (PSR) in traditional reference voltage circuits. The traditional reference voltage structure was optimized with no operational amplifier circuit. The power consumption of the reference voltage circuit was reduced to the nA level by utilizing enhanced-mode MOSFETs and depletion-mode MOSFETs operating in the sub-threshold region. By using a feedback network in the circuit, the PSR was significantly enhanced. Simulations were conducted using Cadence Spectre based on the Eastern Hi-Tech 0.18 μm BCD process. Simulation results show that when operated at a supply voltage of 5 V from -40 ℃ to 150 ℃, the reference voltage circuit can maintain an output voltage of 1.1 V with temperature coefficient of 9.36 ×10 -6℃ -1. At low frequency, the PSR is approximately -79.5 dB, and the static current is as low as 285.7 nA.
