Abstract: With rapid development and continuous maturity of all-electronic fuse technology, new requirements have been put forward for components miniaturization in the system to achieve higher integration. Most of the components such as high-voltage diodes and capacitors in the boost module of the fuse system have been surface mounted, while the mainstream high-voltage transformers still use wire winding, which cannot meet the system's simultaneous requirements on output voltage≥2.5 kV and volume≤0.6 cm 3. This study used MAXWELL software for 2D electromagnetic simulation and 3D modeling. Based on LTCC technology, materials and matching paste were selected for high-performance low-temperature co-fired ferrite (LTCF). The winding coils were printed on multi-layer ferrite ceramic sheets, and then stacked and co-fired in multiple layers to achieve transformer flattening and significant volume compression. A compact chip-type high-voltage transformer was successfully developed. Equipped with a flyback DC/DC boost circuit, the transformer could achieve a high output voltage of up to 3.03 kV, and the volume is reduced to the development goal of 0.55 cm 3. The findings could also be extended to fields such as high-pressure ignition in engines and pulse power.
