Thermodynamic Coupling Analysis of Hydraulic Brake Anti-Reversal Device for Screw Pump

Abstract:The hydraulic brake anti-reversal device can provide effctive braking torque and avoid safety issues caused by the excessive reversal speed of the sucker rod when the screw pump is shut down.Therefore,a thermodynamic coupling finite element model of the hydraulic brake anti-reversal device for screw pump was developed,and the influencing factors and variation of the braking torque of the hydraulic brake device and the temperature rise of the brake disc were studied.The results indicate that the braking torque isonly related to hydraulic pressure,and the temperature rise is related to the number of braking cycles and hydraulic pressure.A higher hydraulic pressure means a greater braking torque and temperature rise of the anti-reversal device. Based on the finite element results,fitting formulas for braking torque,temperature rise,and hydraulic pressure are proposed,providing theoretical guidance for hydraulic brakes.
