Abstract:To improve the accuracy of oil and gas pipeline inspections and optimize the performance of leaf spring-based detectors,this study employs scorpion crack structure analysis methods.By combining finite element analysis with experimental validation,the influence of rectangular cracks with varying widths on the stress and strain of leaf springs is investigated.The results indicate that as the crack width increases,the maximum stress value decreases,the voltage response becomes more sensitive,the slope rises,the initial voltage increases,the intercept grows,and the stiffness of the leaf spring reduces.The biomimetic scorpion crack-inspired leaf spring design significantly enhances the sensitivity and precision ofthe detector,ofering new insights and methods for advancing oil and gas pipeline inspection technology. This approach drives pipeline inspection technology toward higher accuracy.
