Using script murder as medium： Scene regeneration of rural historical sites under the leadership of red culture

Abstract： Taking Zhuji，a county-level city in China，as a case study，the study explores how rural historical sites can activate historical remains and promote the regeneration of their spatial scenes with the help of red culture in the region. Folowing the analytical framework of the actor network theory of "problem concern-benefit empowerment-enlistment and mobilization"，the study employs participatory observation and semi-structured interviews to engage in dialogue with multiple subjects in the rural field. With script murder as a medium，it integrates the red genes in the rural area into the creation of script murder by highlighting the character features，reproducing the revolutionary narative，and integrating the spirit of the times. Taking agritainment as a spatial carrier，it builds an action network integrating three interconnected "scenes"，"rural reality scene， native culture scene and text plot scene"，connecting multiple actors in diferent scenes in the countryside. By integrating sightseeing，browsing and immersion experience into the " script murder + agritainment" mode， the contemporary translation of red cultural genes is realized through crossmedia narrative strategy，so that the historical site becomes a cultural infrastructure that carries collective memory and activates local identity，and the cultural coordinates are co-created in collaboration to promote the integrated development of the rural red culture and tourism industry，and to enhance the vitality and competitiveness of the modern countryside.
