The mechanism construction of the Communist Party of China in forging a stronger sense of community for the Chinese nation

Abstract： The Communist Party of China （CPC） serves as the core force in forging a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation and ocupies a pivotal position in ethnic afairs. From the perspective of Party leadership，forging a stronger sense of community for the Chinese nation should be developed through three mechanisms：integration，institutionalization，and identity-building. The integration mechanism relies on the CPC's top-down organizational network to unite all ethnic groups into a cohesive whole；the institutional mechanism achieves dynamic equilibrium by coordinating internal and external relations to effectively safeguard al ethnic groups' right to be masters of their own affairs；the identity mechanism emphasizes endogenous value consensus among diferent groups，enabling people of all ethnicities to forge a stronger sense of community for the Chinese nation through cognitive restructuring. These three mechanisms，constructed under the CPC′ s leadership，work synergistically to advance the Chinese nation as a community with deeper solidarity and stronger cohesion.
