Abstract:Objective:Toevaluatetheefectof gastrodin injectionand betahistine hydrochlorideinjection inpatients withvertebrobasilararteryinsuficiencyvertigo(VBIV)anditseffectoncerebralbloodperfusionandserum interleukinenhanced binding factor-1(ILF-1)and endothelin(ET).Methods:A total of 96 VBIV patientsadmited to our hospital fromJanuary2023to September2O24wereprospectivelyselected.Theywere dividedintobetahistine hydrochloride group(48cases)and combinationgroup(48 cases)according to therandomized control table.The betahistine hydrochloride group was given betahistine hydrochloride injection after surgery,and the combination group wasgivengastrodin injectionandbetahistine hydrochlorideinjection.Thetreatmenteficacy,vertigo frequencyand durationof vertigo attacksand dizzinesshandicap inventory(DHI)score,vertebrobasilar blood flowvelocity(mean bloodflow velocityof vertebral artery,mean bloodflow velocityof basilarartery),cerebral blood volume(CBV), cerebral blood flow(CBF)and meantransit time(MTT)andserum ILF-1and ETwerecompared.Results:Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups( P>0.05 ).After treatment,the total response rate of the combination group ( 95.83% )washigher than that of the betahistine hydrochloride group(72.92%);mean bloodflowvelocityofvertebralartery,meanbloodflowvelocityofbasilarartery,CBVandCBFinthecombination group were higher than those in betahistine hydrochloride group,and frequency and duration of vertigo episodes,and DHIscore,MTT,serum ILF-1andETinthecombineddrug group were lower than thosein betahistine hydrochloride group,with significant differences ( P<0.05 ).Conclusion:In VBIV patients,gastrodin injection combined with betahistinehydrochlorideinjectioncansignificantlyimprovethebloodcirculationofvertebrobasilararteryandcerebral blood perfusion,restore blood supply to thebrain,reduce the levelof serum ILF-1andET,and inhibit inflammation, alleviate vertigo symptoms.
