Abstract:Objective:To explore theapplicationvalueof neurophysiological monitoring inreducing intraoperative neurological injuries during spinalsurgery.Methods:Aretrospective analysis was conducted on 3O5 spinal surgeries performedattheFirstAfliatedHospitalofGannan Medical UniversityfromJune2O21toJune2O24,wherethe Nihon Kohden MEE-12OOC neurofunctional tester was used to monitor somatosensory evoked potentials(SEP),motor evoked potentials(MEP)amplitude changes,andabnormal nerve conduction velocities.Results:Among 3O5 patients who underwent spinal surgery,62 were identifiedas positiveearly warnings,with a positive early warning rate of 20.3%. Among them,thepositive earlywarning rates for cervical spine,thoracic spine,and lumbar spine surgeries were25. 0% , 12. 0% ,and 18.9% respectively.Conclusion:Neurophysiological monitoring during spinal surgery can promptly detect abnormalnerveconductionvelocities,efectivelyalertingsurgeons topreventneurological injuries and minimizing damage to the nervous system.
