Abstract:Oxidationresistance gene1(OXR1),asan evolutionarilyconserved endogenousantioxidant defense system coreregulator,playsakeyroleinmaintainingcellularredoxhomeostasis.Studies haveshown that OXR1canbuildamultilevelantioxidantdefensenetwork toprotectcelsfromoxidativedamagebyregulatingantioxidant pathways,maintaining mitochondrial function,and stabilizing thereverse transport complex.Theabnormal expresson ofOXR1is closely related totheoccurrenceanddevelopmentofoxidativestress-relateddiseases (suchasneurodegenerativediseases,cardiovasculardiseases and malignant tumors),butthe mechanism of action is complex.This article reviews the structure, function,role,andpharmacologicalresearchofOXR1,providingatheoreticalbasis forunderstandingitsinvolvementin neurodegenerative diseases and the development of OXR1-targeting drugs.

氧化损伤是机体在生理或病理条件下,活性氧(Reactiveoxygenspecies,ROS)过度累积引发的分子级联反应,通过破坏脂质、蛋白质及核酸等生物大分子,诱发细胞功能障碍甚至死亡[1。(剩余10718字)
