Exploration into the Clarity of Implementation of Food Safety Policies and Regulations in China's Food Export Trade

Abstract

Asamajor foodexportingcountry，China's foodexport tradeplaysan important rolein thenational economy，but theclarityof theimplementationoffood safety policiesand regulations during theexport process is prominent.This articleanalyzes the current situation of China's food export trade and related policies and regulations，combined with cases suchas the European Union's Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed（RASFF）reporting on Chinese agricultural and food products，the South Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety（MFDS）reporting on Chinese mooncakes，and APEC related investigations.It points out that China's food enterprises face chalenges in export trade，suchas complexand vague regulations， dificulties in trackingand dynamically to international lawsand regulations，and insuficient corporate awarenessandenforcementcapabilities.Therefore，itisrecommended that the governmentand industryassociations strengthen regulatory research and tracking，build information-sharing platforms for enterprises，and enterprises improve their internal management.Collaborationamongallparties can help improve the clarityof the implementationoffood safety policiesand regulations，promote the healthyand sustainable development of China's food ex port trade，andenhance thecompetitivenessandreputation ofChina's food intheinternational market.
