Abstract：ObjectiveTo analyze the full clinical course contrast-induced encephalopathy in a case cerebrovascular digital subtraction angiography（DSA）with ioxanol.MethodsTheclinical data1 patient with CIE caused by ioxanol during DSA were retrospectively analyzed.ResultsThe patient developed CIE-related mental and neurological symptoms suchas restlessness，slurred speech，anddecreased muscle strength after surgery.After active comprehensivetreatments，the symptoms graduallyrelieved，and the patient eventually achieved clinical cure and wasdischarged.ConclusionsThe etiology CIE is complex.Preoperative preventionand postoperative treatment can effectively guarantee the safety clinical use iodine contrast agents.
