Abstract:【Objective】Naturereserves faceconflicts between ecological conservationand economic development.By establishingecologicalnetworkstomaintainheintegrity,connectivity,stability,andbiodiversityofcologicalsouce, speciesrecoveryand habitat restoration canbe ensured.Thisapproach providesa scientific foundation for the protection and developmentof theHelan Mountains.【Method】Taking theHelan Mountainasthestudyarea,weidentified ecologically valuable forest lands as core areas using the morphological spatial pattrn analysis (MSPA).Ranked core areasbyconnectivitysignificance through landscapeconnectivityassssment.Extractedsixresistance factorsand simulated ecologicalcorridorsvia theminimumcumulativeresistance(MCR)and thegravitymodels.Identified ecological nodes through hydrological analysis toconstructtheecological securitynetwork.【ResultThe Helan Mountains comprises 15 significant ecological sources covering with a total area of 44766hm2 ,which are concentrated in the centralandsouthernregions.Thirty-onegeneral ecologicalcoidorsand16criticalecologicalcorridorswereidentified within the area,efectivelyconnecting all ecologicalsources and ensuring species exchange.Ninety-oneecologicalnodes 收稿日期Received:2024-06-01 修回日期Accepted:2024-09-03 wereidentified,including 43 temporaryrestpoints,35strategicpoints,and13breakpoints;mostof theecological securitynetworks withinthe studyarea showshigh connectivityand integrity.【Conclusion】Theecological securitypatern of the Helan Mountainscanbe zoned intocoreprotectionareas,ecological bufer zones,and sustainable useareas. Differentiated management strategiesfordiferentareas can provide references foroptimizingthe ecological functions of thenaturereserve and spatial cordination planning,promotes the protection of biodiversityand sustainable development of ecosystems in the nature reserve.
