Health self-evaluation status of nursing undergraduates during online learning under the blended teaching mode

【Abstract】Objective To understand the health self-evaluation status of undergraduate nursing students duringonlinelearningundertheblendedteaching modeandanalyzeits influencing factors,soas toprovidereference forformulating targeted intervention measuresand improving thequalityof blended nursing teaching.MethodsA totalof 336undergraduate nursing students from a medical college in Shandong were recruited via convenience sampling.Data werecollected byusing thegeneral survey form,the undergraduate healthself-ratingscale during onlinelearning,the Connor-Davison mentalresilience scale2and the learner's perceptionof teacher emotional support scale.ResultsThe mean total score of health self-evaluation among undergraduate nursing students during online learning was ⟨34.0±17.2⟩ points.Regression analysis showed that grades,reasons for professional choice, mentalresilience,and perceived teacher emotional support were the influencing factors of health self-evaluation status among undergraduate nursing students during online learning (P<0.05) .Conclusion All health selfassessment scores of undergraduate nursing students during online learning were atalow-medium level.Nursing educators should payatention to the health statusof lower-grade nursing students who non-autonomously choose nursing majors during online learning.Enhancing professional commitment,mentalresilience,and perceived teacher emotional support to improve health self-evaluation status during online learning.
