Abstract：Feverof unknown origin （FUO）is challnging to diagnose due to its obscure etiology，which often rendersvarious treatment modalities ineffective.This paper proposes a methodthat integrates modern medical diagnostic techniqueswith the Chinese medicine theoryof "symptom clusters"for syndrome diferentiation.Physicians can categorize the relevantsymptoms ofFUO patients into "symptomclusters"and conducta comprehensive study based on the "pathogenesis-symptom" cluster combinations.Eventuall， they can incorporate these symptoms into the corsponding Chinese medicine syndromes for syndrome diferentiation and treatment.Thisapproach aims to improve thecurrent clinicaldiagnosisand treatmentofFUO and timely integrate Chinese medicine therapies into the treatment process.Itcan effectivelyavoid therisksassociated with potential diseases inFUO，promptly intervene in the spectrum ofFUO symptoms，reduce the misdiagnosis rate ofFUO，and also improve the adverse prognosis caused by the misuse of medications.
