Analysis of Acupoint Selection Rules for Treating Insomnia with Intradermal Needle in China Based on Data Mining

China based ondata mining.Methods：A computer-based search was conducted inthe Wanfang Medical Database，

China Biology Medicine disc（CBMdisc），China National Knowledge Infrastructure（CNKI），and China Science and

TechnologyJournal Database（VIP）forliteraturerelatedto intradermal needle treatmentof insomnia from204 to 2023.

Theacupoint information from the included studies was input into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support

System（V3.O）.The acupointselection rules for treating insomnia with intradermal needle were analyzedusing frequency

statistics，acupoint asociation ruleanalysis，and K-means clustering methods.Results：A total of 108 eligible

treatmentprescriptions were included.The top five most frequentlyusedacupoints for treating insomnia were

Shenmen（HT7），Subcortex（AT4），Heart（CO15），Sympathetic（AH6a），and Sanyinjiao（SP6）.Forty commonly

used acupoint combinationswereidentified，with"Subcortex（AT4），Heart（COl5），Endocrine（CO18）”

“Subcortex （AT4），Heart （CO15），Kidney（CO10），Liver（CO12）”and“Heart（CO15），Kidney（CO10），Endocrine（CO18）”being the most common.Fourcore acupoint combinations were identified，with "Subcortex（AT4），Heart（CO15），Sympathetic （AH6a），auricular point of Shenmen （HT7），Kidney（CO10）and Spleen（CO13）"being the most common.Conclusion：The treatment of insomnia by intradermal needle is mainly through tonifyingdeficiency and reducing excess，regulating qi，blood，yin and yang of viscera and bowels，regulating defenseqi，making defenseqi entering into yin，soastoachieve the effctof tranquilizing the mindand hamornizing yin and yang.
