Abstract：Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease（（COPD）and osteoporosis often coexist，and their co-morbid mechanisms are drawing the atention of researchers.Intestinal flora plays a keyrole in the pathogenesis of COPDand osteoporosis，andcan influence disease progresson through the“intestine-lung axis”and“intestine-bone axis” Therapyof invigorating the spleenanddispellingdampness in Chinese medicinecanefectivelyregulate intestinal flora， thus aleviating the symptoms of COPD and osteoporosis through such mechanisms.This paper discussed the potential efects of intestinal floraon COPDcomplicated withosteoporosisand thefeasibilityof treating such diseasefrom the perspective of the spleen in Chinese medicine，so as to provide a new approach and method forthe treatment of COPD complicated with osteoporosis by combining intestinal flora with the spleen in Chinese medicine.
