Abstract：Objective：This article is to introduce the clinical experience of Profesor WANG Songling in treating braindiseases with eliminatingfithiness and dispellingthe pathogenic factors method.ProfessorWANG points out that the brain is the house of the original spirit.The treatment of neuropsychosis should bebasedon thatof the brain.In clinical，theeliminating flthiness methodshould beusedfordispellng the pathogenic factors without damaging healthy qi.For patients with eclampsia，it should eliminateflthiness byremoving turbidityandopen the orifices to awaken the mind；forpatients with manicdepressive psychosis，it shouldclearheat to eliminate filthiness，andcalmthe heart and tranquilizing the mind；for patientswith headache，itshould eliminate filthiness bydissolving stasisand free the collateral vessels and calm the mind.
