Research on Data Mining of Chinese Herbal Compound for Chronic Pharyngitis Based on National Patents

Abstract：Objective：To explore the medication rules of Chinese herbal compound patents for the treatment of chronic pharyngitis（CP）.Methods：The prescription data for CP treatment in the national patent database were recorded，and Excel2O21 was used to countthe frequencyof herbal use andtheir natures，flavorsand channelentries. R 4.3.3 software was adopted for association rule，clustering，and correlation coefficient analysis.Cytoscape 3.8 was used to constructacore complex network of Chinese herbsand extract dense Chinese herbal clusters.Results：A total of 457 Chinese herbal compound patents were included，involving 1O14 herbs.The high-frequency herbs included Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，PlatycodonisRadix，Ophiopogonis Radix，Lonicerae Japonicae Flos，and Scrophulariae Radix.The commonlyused herbal pairs included Platycodoni Radix-Glycyrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， Ophiopogonis Radix-Glycyrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，Lonicerae Japonicae Flos-Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，etc.

The commonlyused triplet herb combinations included Ophiopogonis Radix-Platycodoni Radix-Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，Scrophulariae Radix-Ophiopogonis Radix-Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，Lonicerae Japonicae FlosPlatycodoni Radix-Glycyrhizae Radix et Rhizoma，etc.Four groups ofcore herbal combinations were extracted through clustering analysis，andone potential herbal combination was identified.Conclusion：The basic formulafor Chinese herbalcompound patents inthetreatmentofCPis toclear heat，resolvetoxins，andsoothe the throat，and herbs that nourish yin，resolve phlegm，eliminate dampness，invigorate blood and remove stasis can be added according to syndrome diferentiation.This provides a reference for clinical medication and development of new drug.
